Julian Messar is a passionate artist/illustrator from Vienna, his great love is telling stories with brush and color. Stories have inspired him for as long as he can remember. Be it in the form of fairy tales, comics, books, films or stories written by everyday life. During his training as a painter, he discovered the wonderful opportunity to tell his own stories using pen and paper or brush and paint. To better illustrate his stories, he studied illustration in Germany for more than two years. In the creation of a picture, he is captivated by the play of spontaneity and planning. The picture develops little by little, and each image takes on a very unique life of its own as it is painted. From the basic idea for a story, another, even more beautiful story emerges in the creation process – and that’s what he loves about painting. He also wants to convey this feeling to the viewer. He should immerse himself in the picture, discover something new in it again and again and experience his very own story in the process
