The 501st Legion, also known as “Vader’s Fist” (Darth Vader’s Fist), is an international costume club of fans. Its members are enthusiastic about characters from the Star Wars universe from the Dark Side of the Force, the Empire, the First Order, as well as villains and shady characters. The club was founded in 1997 in the USA by Albin Johnson. Our base in Austria, the Austrian Garrison (AG), has been in existence since 2006. Under the motto “Bad guys doing good”, the costume club combines enthusiasm for the extensive Star Wars universe, detailed costumes, craftsmanship, community and charitable activities into a special hobby.
