John Ross Bowie is certainly known to many for his role as the lisping Dr. Barry Kripke in “The Big Bang Theory”. He also played the lead role of Jimmy DiMeo in the popular sitcom “Speechless” and has also appeared in countless other TV and film productions. He has taken on guest roles in a number of well-known series, such as “The Rookie”, “Glee”, “Melissa & Joey”, “Heroes”, “Psych”, “Monk”, “Brooklyn Nine Nine”, “Weeds” and many more.

Behind the camera, John is a screenwriter and currently advocates for Hollywood Writers Guild rights.

With his punk bands “Egghead” and “Kung Fu Monkey”, John regularly realizes himself on the musical stage outside of his everyday acting life. He is also featured with his band “Egghead” in the SBÄM documentary, which will soon be released on Netflix.

We already invited him to Vienna Comic Con in 2018, but unfortunately he couldn’t make it due to last-minute work commitments.
