A name that needs no introduction: Yaya Han is a cosplayer, designer and author with over 20 years of experience in the fan community. She has made over 400 costumes, appeared on two US TV shows and in countless magazines, books, newspapers and online media, and is a regular guest and speaker at hundreds of events worldwide.

Over the years, Yaya has played a key role in shaping the cosplay scene – to the point of developing her own industry. She was the first cosplayer to launch branded sewing and craft products such as fabrics, trims and even her own sewing machine under the name “Yaya Han”.

With her book “Yaya Han’s World of Cosplay”, she is the first to document the life of a professional cosplayer and the development of modern cosplay culture. Yaya will be one of the judges for the VIECC® Cosplay Championships on Saturday, and will of course be in the Cosplay Village on both days!
