Toshihiro Kawamoto is one of the most successful animators and character designers.
After a year as a regular employee, he enrolled at the Tokyo Designer Academy and attended its Faculty of Graphic Design in Nagoya.
His career as an animator began at Group Donguri, after which he went freelance.
He made his debut as an inbetween animator in 1985 on the series “Urusei Yatsura”. He first appeared as a character designer in 1990 on the OVA “Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory”.
He is also known for series such as “Golden Boy”, “Cowboy Bebop”, “Noragami” and “Blood Blockade Battlefront”.
His latest title is “Metallic Rouge”.
He is one of the executive directors of the animation studio Bones.
