As a freelance sculptor, prop maker, special makeup FX artist and costume maker, Liz has been working internationally in film, TV and theater for several years. For example, for Amazon Prime’s series “Carnival Row”, the US science fiction action film “The Matrix 4”, the 4-time Oscar winner “Nothing New in the West”, or the multi-award-winning short film “Manivelle – the Last Days of the Man of Tomorrow”, to name just a handful. After training as a stage sculptor in 2015, she was also one of the proud winners of the Baden-Baden Award in the stage painter/sculptor category.

Liz came to cosplay via medieval reenactment, through which she discovered her interest in tailoring in 2012. Now she has been part of the cosplay community for 6 years, works part-time as a cosplayer and makes use of her versatile skills.

Liz has been running a workshop in Berlin since 2019. There, through her school – the “LazerLiz – Arts school” – she gives on-site and online training courses to share her knowledge with the world. In addition, LazerLiz is regularly invited as a cosplay guest at trade fairs, gives workshops/panels as well as live makeup demos and presents her artful work, which ranges from sculptures, drawings/digital art, costumes, props and prints.
