Jessica Szohr is an American actress. She became known to a wider audience through the leading role of Vanessa Abrams in the television series Gossip Girl. She was already being used as a model in catalogs and advertising campaigns at the age of six.

Her first appearances as an actress included roles in the series What’s Up, Dad?, Heavenly Joan and Hello Holly. She appeared in three episodes of the series CSI: Miami as Samantha Barrish. Her breakthrough came with the series Gossip Girl, in which she starred from 2007 to 2012. This was followed by further roles in films such as Ted2, prakti.com, Two Night Stand and many more.

She plays important characters in TV series such as Men at Work, Twin Peaks, Shameless and The Orville. Many of you will know her as Lt. Cmdr. Talla Keyali from Seth MacFarlane’s sci-fi series The Orville.
