Jennifer Benkau, born in 1980, has been writing novels for adults, young adults and children in various genres since 2010. She is represented by the literary agency Thomas Schlück.

Her books have won the DELIA and UH! literary prizes, among others; the “One True Queen” trilogy was placed on the SPIEGEL bestseller list in 2019 and 2020. Her children’s book “Die Seelenpferde von Ventusia – Windprinzessin” made it onto the “Dein Spiegel” bestseller list.

The author lives in the Rhineland with her husband, four children, dogs and horses. In addition to her full-time work as an author, she works as a freelance editor and is involved in animal welfare.
