Bernd Flessner
Bernd Flessner (Dr. phil.) works as a futurologist at the Competence Center for Interdisciplinary Science Reflection (ZiWiS) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). He is also on the scientific advisory board of the Deutsches Museum for the Museum of the Future in Nuremberg, where he moderates the regular “Zukunftsplausch” talk show.
As a science journalist and essayist, he writes for Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Kursbuch, Nürnberger Nachrichten, Kultur & Technik, Archiv – Magazin für Kommunikationsgeschichte, Focus, Mare – Zeitschrift der Meere, Schweizer Monat, WDR, BR, among others.
As an author, he writes crime novels, short stories, travel guides, non-fiction and science fiction as well as books for children and young people.
